If you got your love for food and cooking from your mom like I did, then these gifts for moms who love to cook are perfect for your mom for Mother’s Day too! With most being under $40, they’re a small token of appreciation for the women who raised you to be the strong woman you are today.

Adding some nice and functional touches to mom’s kitchen is fun way to show her how much you care. Cooking for the holidays, entertaining for everyone’s birthday–my mom Barbara does it all and still uses some of the cookware, bakeware and gadgets she got from her wedding registry. Talk about retro! Those are some of the things I like to upgrade for my mom when I can.

Most of our moms grew up cooking and baking in an era without so many of the little kitchen gadgets and tools that we take for granted. I know my mom always says she doesn’t need anything, but getting her something related to what we bond over like cooking and baking is something I know she will cherish forever.

I recently noticed my mom making her famous blueberry cake (similar to these bars) with a hand mixer that she still has from the 70’s. She won’t give that thing up, but we did upgrade her blender to a Vitamix last year that she has not stopped talking about and loves making smoothies in!

Level up mom’s kitchen with some of these thoughtful and useful gifts for moms who love to cook for Mother’s Day!

With the corona virus pandemic happening at this time, Mother’s Day this year will definitely be different. On one hand I’m sad that we won’t be able to celebrate Mother’s Day over brunch like we always do, but know that by social distancing my family is helping to keep my mom (and dad) safe. I’m looking forward to talking to my mom on the phone and sending something or even a card that will help make her day special.

How are you celebrating Mother’s Day during this time of social distancing?
